10-Week Run-Walk Program for Novice and Intermediate Walkers/Runners

Running has the power to change your life;
here's how to get going:

  • In this 10-week program, we will use run/walk intervals that slowly increase weekly towards more continuous running or power walking. You'll also learn what different effort levels feel like and incorporate a solid warm-up and cool-down routine to prevent injury and build mileage and endurance safely.

  • Introduction Meeting on 9/15/22 at 5:30 p.m.

    Program starts 9/19/22 at 5:30 p.m.

    We meet on Monday evenings at 5:30 p.m. on the Rock Island Trail at Keller Station. When you enroll in our program, you will receive:

    A 10-week training program for runners and run/walkers at all levels, including 3 run/walk workouts and one day of cross training per week. Every running exercise has options for run/walk intervals starting at 15 seconds of jogging with 30 seconds of walking and can be modified for your ability level.

    A Private Facebook group offering support from your running coaches, Cathy Plouzek and Mandy Kroll, for questions, accountability, group support, and celebrations.

    Unlimited Access to Studio C Classes for the 10 weeks (non-members).

    Cost of the Program - $25 This includes the access to Studio C fitness classes during the 10 week program!
